THE GOLDEN LEGACY
140 years ago, Adolph Coors set out to build a quality brewery and ended up creating a legacy. Obsessed with quality and craftsmanship, he set up shop in Golden, Colorado and began brewing with cold, clear mountain water.
Born in the Rockies in 1978 and brewed in Canada since 1984, the legacy of that lager has been protected and preserved just as intended. Every Coors Light is lagered, filtered and packaged at the edge of freezing. The result is a clean, crisp taste of Rocky Mountain heritage.
COLD BLOODED
It goes without saying: the best kind of beer, is cold beer. That's why Coors Light is lagered, filtered and packaged as close to freezing as possible to keep every batch cold brewed, through and through. We also have our brewmasters taste-test each batch over 250 times to ensure every beer we make meets the high standard set by Adolph Coors 140 years ago.
COLD AND CRISP, INSIDE AND OUT
For us cold is more than just a word. It's a way of life.
Coors Light begins life in the cold, lagered below freezing to brew its signature crisp taste, then filtered cold to bring out its bright colour and clarity. Finally, once packaged, Coors Light is best served as cold as the Rockies it was born in.
HISTORY OF THE SILVER BULLET
Coors Light debuted in the US in 1978, introducing beer lovers to The Silver Bullet for the very first time. Next, in 1984, Coors Light began brewing in Canada, finally giving those in the great white north a taste of the Rockies. Today, we're proud to bring Coors Light to beer enthusiasts across the globe, in Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia, and the Caribbean.
